I been charged with making off without payment

The amounts was £35 and £45 pound. My silly mistake I know but what do you think the outcome in the magistrates court would be ? It's my first offence

The second time my card declined and they didnt have a sheet to leave your details so i just left my details on a piece of paper and went.

If your card was declined did you not leave the good behind? If yes, then I fail to see why there is a case against you on this

Making off' refers to driving away without paying for petrol !
If you left your details the 2nd time , did you go back and pay ? Why are they pursuing a claim if you left details ?

If you've made off with £35 worth of petrol and then £45 worth of petrol, that sounds to me like a first AND second offence. Or have I misunderstood something ...?

Yeah I left details and they still reported me I was gonna pop back ten obviously police got involved. Yeah that's true first and second offence, basically I meant its the first time I been in trouble

Petrol? Why are you going to court if its your first offence? It makes no sense, you should have got a caution.

I have severed doubts that, if you truly had gone back and paid within the 10 minute time scale, the petrol garage would have called the police

You gave your details knowing full well you couldn't pay/were not intending to pay.

To do so once could be seen as a mistake, but twice? You knew what you were doing. You knew you were stealing and you must know now you will face the consequences.

Stop dilly dallying with half truths and part stories. If you want those who can help to help, tell the whole story

With no previous convictions, an early guilty plea with good mitigation (MOWP is an easy offence to offer mitigation) you could be looking at a fine and compo to the victim/s, as long as there are no aggravating features such as leaving false details.
