It is surprising you have not been informed of the reason for your suspension, which hopefully was with pay, whilst an investigation is carried out into the alleged reason for the suspension. If you have not been informed that a letter is being sent with the alleged reason, you should ask either the HR dept or the person who informed you of your suspension to explain.
After the investigation you should be invited to a meeting to discuss the alleged reason, if the decision is against you an appeal is possible and if you are dismissed you will have the remedy of an employment tribunal if you have at least one year of service. If you are a member of a trade union now is the time to speak to them.
