I put in a request for a harassment caution, I now wish to remove it, can I do that? I'm 14 and my ex boyfriend made some mistakes, it went to far and with the advice of my school, councilor and family i went to the police, I now realize this was a huge mistake and I want to remove it. But my parents can't know, I want to know if thats possible, and what the consequences would be... I know a lot of people will think I'm stupid for going it but I can't keep it there.

I don't think you were stupid at all. What I do think is stupid is wanting to remove it
However, once someone has received a caution that's it
As said, it is out of your hands now.
If you try to get it removed the police will suspect that it is the boy who is trying to presuade you to remove it and investigate further. As you are only 14 you are still the legal responcibility of your parents . They would have to be informed if the caution was lifted . Why can't you keep it there ? is it the boy who is causing trouble? if so he is breaking the terms of the caution and stands to be arrested and charged. Sorry but I can't see any other reason you would want it removed . But as I said until you are 18 you can not make this type of descision yourself anyway.
are you in the UK? It may make a difference if you're not
is this because you still love him and want him back?

i think you should think again!
