Is it drink related, drugs, social issues or what (I am just being nosey really, what makes someone get into trouble like this).
I am 60 years old and never been in trouble with the police so wonder what drives somoone to attack a person with a brick for example.
If you dont feel like answering that is fine.

I'm not sure about this story myself but there seems to be a lot of ignorance about 'Tags'
The tag is fitted by a private security firm who also monitor it. They monitor it from outside the house where the 'taggee' is with a radio receiver which picks up the signal from the tag. There is nothing to stop a 'taggee 'cutting off the tag and leaving it in the house while they go out, it will still work and indicate that the tag is in the house. The problem will come when the tag is due to be removed , the same security firm come and cut it off. If they find that the tag has already been removed they will report that the conditions of the tagging have not been met . Then the 'taggee' can be arrested and returned to jail. The security firm can not arrest anyone , they just report that the tagging conditions have not been met. People think there is an alarm in the tag that will go off if it is removed but this is not the case.
connorh, you are in severe trouble ,the court is very likedly to send you to jail in view of your 'previous' and your breach of tagging rules. I would expect the magistrates to remand you while the case is refered up to Crown Court.

ummm the firms vary some hardly bother to check at all . My next door neigbour was on tag for a month they only came round twice .
I talked to the 'tag checker' he said it was impossible to check as often as he was supposed to as he had to cover an area of over 50 sq miles on his own. He said he was supposed to check each address twice a night but he was lucky to be able to do it once a week. He also said some do not check at all as no one 'checks the checkers'
