Your experience and knowledge of employment law are unique on this site. There may be others who have some knowledge of law but do not have your hands on experience. It is agreed that some, or even many people, post on this and other sites with comments that may be considered trivia and may not be based on law, but most of them mean to help. Please do respond to those that may need your assistance

BM has made it clear that users on this site and their trivial problems are beneath his dignity and time to bother responding to, so i doubt appealing to his ego like this will work.
it is possible that he has a job and therefore has less time to spend on the internet than old retired fogeys like me and other stay-at-homes. It is unfair to criticise anyone for not being on hand to dish out free advice whenever it's wanted.
i don't think tony was saying that. BM mentioned on another thread he wasn't going to come here again
I thought you were being harsh on him, bednobs. BM has shared quite a bit of knowledge free of charge. I've not needed any, but he's entitled to come and go as he pleases; many people do.
i completely agree with you -he has vast knowledge and has very very useful replies (and is free to come and go as he wishes, and answer whatever he wishes and the site will be poorer without him) However i was just pointing out that he had said that he was posting his last post because ab was too trivial for him (paraphrasing here)
I can sympathise with BM.
Look here Chuck...............not ALL of my questions are trivial.
I agree with Bednobs take on Builder's Mates last post. He did seem to imply that the questions were trivial and not sufficiently taxing for him to get his teeth into.

I was quite saddened by the post as he has given wise advice to many. Just because there aren't enough juicy questions for him to address is possibly a fortunate consequence of the advice previously given?!?
...could we not make up a load of complicated questions and scenarios?
Sorry Messi I don't understand your question!
his knowledge is detailed and technical; maybe he feels it a waste of time to be asked which end of the nail to hit. (In future all such questions should be addressed to Chuck.)
Question Author
I do, of course, recognise that BM can decide he is not prepared to answer any more questions any time he chooses, I rather like the idea of Messi_Ten that we invent some really difficult problems to tempt BM back, including some that appear trivial to make it sound genuine. I have learnt that what some may consider trivial can be worrying to others, I believe this site will not be as useful without BM, but I am encouraged to learn that chuck is now going to step into the breech.
Inventing problems can be construed as trolling - and there have been instances of that here
I've never seen any trolling on AB, not sure I would recognise it anyway.

The Ed and mods probably handle that side of things.
