How can i find out if i was left anything in my grandmothers will?

My grandmother died in 2007 and as i don't get on with my parents would like to find out if anything was left to her grandchildren in her will. also my mother was the only child so is her next of kin.

Go to the local probate office and ask to see the will which is a public document.
You can also apply for a copy of the will, and the grant of probate, by post. (Either way, it will cost you £6):
