A young man suffers catastrophic head injuries in an accident.

When she has power or atterny ( or whatever) she then sells his assets to help pay for either the care he receives or for a few niceties to make his life a little more comforble. Then there is no money left.
If he has a compensation payout then it is even more important to make sure this is sorted legaly.
My nephew had a serious head injury and had a 10million payout. Although he wasn't married and he has a court appointed gaurdian and legal reprentative his will has been written for him setting out what happens to the money should he die. There is a piece in it naming all family members (non of us are beneficaries) so that no one can crawl out of the woodwork claiming any of it.
