I was asked to sign a guarantee on behalf of my wifes company to open a trade account. it didnt state personal guarantee and the guarantor is the company. They did not leave a copy for me to get legal advice as they stated it was just a credit application. My name or position in the company is not mention in the form. Am i now liable for the companies debt even though i am not guarantor and just signed it on behalf of the guarantor?
