I cannot believe how nippy it has become in the evening and early morning. I might have to give serious consideration to getting the winceyette nightie out at this rate......and putting the heating on.....

It doesn't seem fair, a couple of weeks ago we were being promised the warmest August for five years (!) and now we are shivering.

Hands up who would like an Indian summer!?!?

I can't comment - this is obviously a legal matter ....
Would it be legal to have an Indian summer eccles?
have you really already got your winter drawers on, they're passion killers, lol!
I think the jury still hasn't reached a verdict on this charge, so the answer is subject to the rules of sub judicy(?).

OK a pan-Asian and southern equatorial summer. Does that spread the racist inference and limit or increase my chances of prosecution..........

Still bloomin' nippy......
To address the original charge ... winceyette can be quite interesting - discovery is half the fun :+)
I've got fur round the bottom of my nightie, it's to keep my ears warm!
I think the Indians were the American ones. It was nippy last night but warmer tonight so I won't get the Damart out just yet.

If you didn't get it written into the contract I don't think you'll have much chance of recompence to be honest. Just have to shiver along with those over in Chatterbank eccles. :-)

Oh, @rse....I hadn't noticed it was in the wrong category Maidup.

I'm off to burn my winceyette nightie as a protest against/for my own stupidity. I will then sleep a cold and shivery night as penance ;-)
It was an autumnal morning when I got up, just that nip in the air and a touch of frost on the lawn. Hope it warms up soon, I'm away for a few days in Wales in a couple of weeks time.
Every year for the past 4 years in January, the weather forecasters have promised a hot summer. Never happened of course.

I give those who go on about global warming a very wide berth these days.

Yes it is cold. The heating is on here and the horlicks out already.
It got quite cold last night, not too bad tonight, still shorts weather!

Mini heatwave on its way soon
You know what`s a pain? Going away tomorrow for a couple of days and having to pack summer and winter clothes just in case.
Where else would you pack them gness?
:-)
