a step back is sometimes adviseable.

Sounds like an error of fact to me, that's all. It may be a deliberate error or it may be a genuine error, I don't know
It's a re-run of this one, Factor.

I've given up on helping him - it's seems he isn't interested in learning how this stuff works.

builders - its a letter i received today, just trying to clarify a few things off there and this is 1 of them...
This may be to simple, but why don't you leave? It sounds as if you don't like it there plus you are being treated unfairly. If it were me, I would have handed in my resignation..
shows his level of intelligence if he can't even insult you correctly. what a moron - make sure you take this complaint all the way. if you have worked there for over a year and they fire you, do them for unfair dismissal. if you can't take it anymore and leave, you can try constructive dismissal. see the acas website for support and advice x
kat....why should he leave? if he does, he won't be entitled to jsa and may find it hard to get another job, particularly if they start messing around with references.
Just checked this guys profile. He certainly seems to have a knack of getting into arguments just look. Council. police, CSA employer you name them he has had a problem with them, this is following the same route.
Question Author
EDDIE, so all my complaints are my fault!!!

POLICE - DO YOU CLASS OVER 20 ARRESTS OVER FALSE ALLEGATIONS THAT ARE PROVED FALSE CAUSE TO NOT COMPLAIN???
I THINK THE MOST PATIENT PERSON WOULD HAVE HAD ENOUGH, THEY COST ME A 35K A YEAR JOB AS I SPENT MORE TIME IN CELLS OVER A 2 MONTH PERIOD THAN I DID AT WORK...

COUNCIL - ALL ISSUES SORTED AND ALL REPAIRS DONE DUE TO GOING TO CHIEF EXEC... IS IT MY FAULT I WANT REPAIRS DONE AFTER ALL, I ONLY PAY £86 P/W RENT!!!

C.S.A - DIFFERENT ISSUE, WANTING HELP AS PAID £7,500 POUND FOR ACCESS TO KIDS VIA COURTS AND WON, FOR MY EX TO STOP IT AGAIN FOR CSA TO SAY GO BACK TO COURT (AND PAY AGAIN) - SORRY BUT THAT ISN'T FAIR IN MY EYES.

WHAT'S WRONG THAT I STAND MY GROUND AND STAND UP FOR WHAT I BELIEVE RATHER THAN ROLLING OVER LIKE 99% OF THE POPULATION
Question Author
lcg - i been there 16 months and i've told the director (not the 1 i complained about) dealing with my issues that i feel i cant work there now with whats gone on.
i have written documentation relating to 17 issues i raised against the manager and he's admitted 9 of them (even breaching health and safety).

ever since i left school i have worked and get on with all people at my work, yet after going back from a head injury sustained at work and continue to have headaches why do they need to be funny, never really had a problem anywhere else, apart from when i worked at corus and saw my mate get crushed by 4 tonne of steel and it affected me afterwards.

EDDIE - probably would blame me for going off work with depression due to this and state it was my fault has i have a knack!!!
"EDDIE, so all my complaints are my fault!!!"
Quite possibly, the common linking factor here being ...you.
Question Author
answer - if you only knew the truth, some people like me get treated like thsi due to being quiet and not mixing well with people, all i wanna do is go to work do my job has i have done for the last 12 months and go home without arguments.
everything always seems to go wrong and if i have the manager admitting doing these things against me, SURELY I MUST BE WRONG AND IT MUST BE IN MY HEAD!!!
Is that a female from Pakistan ?
The caps in your posts here, the constant frictions you seem to get into and the use of terms such as "some people like me" and "go home without arguments" lead me to believe you either have a severe persecution complex and/or schizophreneia. Maybe you need to 'let go' a little.
Question Author
i have neither but my manager has admitted 1/2 the stuff and only started on me when he knew i put in a grievance about him.

corus - i was bad for watching a friend get crushed to death and done my best to try and get him out only to be persecuted by the company for not backing them up with their story and not the truth of what happened.

police - actually calmed down now and do not act on my ex now has they realise she is playing games, cctv footage proved this so not been arrested in a while now (cctv showed her driving a car at me and the wife yet she ran saying it was me that did it)

if i'm coming mid 30's and this is all the arguments i've ever had then i must be mad or something!!!

as i suffered abuse seriously as a kid i make sure i stand my ground now im an adult, and this doesn't mean fighting it means going about things the right side of the law and reporting stuff
not worth mulling over perceived insults; just take the money & f@@@ em
Question Author
an insult in my eyes is not to bring race/sex into things.

its not about money to me as im not money motivated, i'm happy as i are but its principle of it.
i would love to work there still has i get on with everyone on the shop floor, everyone gets on with me too.

just feel its gonna be uncomfortable with whats gone on and what he's admitted to.
my aunt who works for CSA has told me to push for redundancy or quit and get an ET1 form
If u like the work, mates & company then ignore the idiot who's trying to elbow you out.
Question Author
i was trying to ignore it but then he just started picking faults with everything, took my skills off the matrix board also (step to far) and thats when i put the grievance in.

work mates told me he's done it a few times and people have just left, but i are the 1st to stand upto him and pursue him for what he's doing.
Some managers thrive on staff renewals as it increases their power. Some want to fill jobs with their relations, friends etc. If you value your job u have to ride the insult.
Question Author
i like working has it keeps me busy and occupied plus i like having a laff with the lads i work with.
if i'm wronged i will complain eventually once too many things have happened, i think 17 things in 4 days is more than enough, so i felt my right was to complain higher than him and that the time was right has i didn't wanna say nothing and for things to get worse where i could have probably reacted differently, which is more than likely what he was hoping for!!
