How long does the charge of ABH stay on your recored? TIA

Pretty much forever.

There are rules about you needing to declare it for certain jobs and the time for that varies depending on your sentence, but the police will always have the details
It will appear on an enhanced CRB check for ever .
A conviction will become 'spent' and not need to be declared after a set time.
This time depends on the sentence given.
How ever as I said even a 'spent' conviction will appear on an enhanced CRB check.
5 years for it to be spent,but eddie is pretty much on the ball.

to add if you get a conviction within those five years it starts again.
As Eddie says, but if you ever do have an enhanced CRB you will have to declare any conviction on your record
