I'm no legal eagle but I would suspect so. your not returning the signed contract will not stop the implied acceptance having used the service for 18 months. But I'm sure they would be willing to talk if they felt it in their interest to do so.

Fred is correct. There have to be five elements in the formation of a legal contract, offer, acceptance, consideration, contractual intent and capacity. Presumably you are claiming it was not accepted because you did not sign and return the contract, the courts will not accept this, there are some contracts which must be in writing this is not one, you did accept the contract by using the Virgin product. You may find Household Insurance v Grant 1879, where a letter was lost in the post, of interest.
