Following a divorce, my ex has been ordered by the court to vacate his property by a particular date. Knowing how stubborn he can be, he may not want to be leave. If that is the case, what can I do to force him out? Can Iapply to the Court to send out ballifs?

Get a restraining order against him, this way he'd be forced to stay away.
You should ask the Court Office to advise you. It may well be that bailiffs can be sent but that may depend on the nature of the present Court order.
