Hello, last day i caught by shoplifting of £100 in boots, police arrested me for 2 hrs and took my finger prints and give me a paper to attend in court after 3 weeks, i spoke with solicitor and told what happen actually, and i am wondering that i supposed to join in big company after one week security clearance is under process and i send a letter to them that i was not in criminal record and it is in process,is there any chance that company found me in criminal offence ? it worth of jus £100 does may name appears in CRB and is there any chances of fired me from the job, because it was my dream job i struggled for an year to get this opportunity so can u please let me does it effect to my personal professional carrier.does this effects to extend m visa if company sponsors me .i was in shocked from last twodays don know wats wrong happen me while shopping.can you tell me clearly my life is ruined from now, does company fiers me , is they have access to check my criminal record,does my name appears to them and treat as a criminal,is shopt lifting of 100 pounds comes under criminal offence.Awaiting for you answer

CRB checks (which are now actually DBS checks, because the name of the relevant agency has changed) show all convictions and cautions. They are never removed from the record (although, due to a legal challenge that may change in the future).
However (in England & Wales) only certain employers have access to CRB checks. (e.g. where the employment involves working with, or alongside, children or vulnerable adults). Most employers have no access to CRB checks.
Even so, you need to remember that it's also a criminal offence ('fraud by false representation') to lie about whether you've got any criminal convictions when asked to declare them (unless the convictions are spent under the terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act which, assuming you receive a fine, won't be for 5 years). That offence usually carries a prison sentence.

Doing my best to extract meaning, yes it's criminal, yes is will show on a CRB check yes I'd imagine your employer would not want a thief and yes this will invalidate a visa. Sorry mate but why risk something that you worked so hard for on a silly act of theft? I'm really sad that you felt the need to do this.
