Bicycle Locked To Railings
Someone has locked their bicycle to the railings outside my house. It has been there for two days now and no sign of the cyclist. If this bicycle was locked to a park railing the council would be very quick to remove it. Any suggestions of what i should do?

Funneely enough 1968
I was late for skool and left my sickle against a drive way run up.
The bus collected me and off we set for a 6th form conference.
A kid in the minibus heard rattling....
and then as we came into Frampton (Dorset) the same kid saw a wheel cartwheeling down the road and thought oo that is funny where did that come from ?
The axle hit the road and this gave the impetus to crash and rotate the bus and turn over and over
The battery had not been anchored and so there were twelve kids in a rotating washing machine with a battery spraying everyone with battery acid. Even in that year 1968 some cars failed to slow down as we flagged them down and then had to do an emergency brake stop when they saw the wrecked van carcass around the corner....
No serious injuries - the insurance paid
and I found my sickle in the opposite hedge dumped by the houseowners, later that week.
I dont think they ever knew.
It wasnt your parents by any chance was it porkchop ?

Five days have now gone and the bicycle is still there. It must be the fact that i live in a sort of a respectable area that the bicycle is still there. Maybe if i put out a sign saying "TAKE AWAY FOR FREE" someone may take it away. Mind you, it is not a piece of junk, i would say it is worth around £60/70. Maybe tomorrow it may be gone, as long as my railings are still there i don't mind.
