If the accident above was 200 miles away from drivers home where will the court hearing be? Where it happened or court within drivers home area?

Is the driver being charged with careless (or whatever) driving or being sued for the cost of the bus stop?
A court local to the incident.
Yes, the court will be where it happened. So the driver has a 400 mile round trip to attend court. Do not drive to the hearing either as if you get banned from driving you will not be able to drive back as a ban is instant.
you need to answer dzug2's question before we can answer! if its a civil claim, then the Court will decide where the hearing should take place based on information from the claimant and defendant - each will be given an opportunity to name their preferred court with reasons - eg Plymouth county court because of the location of the claimant and witnesses etc. if criminal proceedings, then I think its the court nearest to the location of the accident.
