Problems After A Eye Op.
i had an eye op last september to correct double vision..this only affected my forward looking vision..however after the op,which corrected my forward vision, but it has left me with double vision when i look to my right..this wasn't there before..after several outpatient visits,at which i was told that it was because they had slackened the muscle in my eye to rectify th e double vision..and it could take 6 to 9 months to right itself..now they tell me there's been no improvement, and it probably won't heal itself....i can't do my job as a coach driver with this impaired vision....do i have a case for compensation, should i wish to go down that road....

Thinking about it logically though, you would not have been able to work with the original double vision either, so you are no worse off re work now than you were before.
Is it an NHS op? Your first port of call would be the NHS complaints service

I am not sure if this is the right place for a decent opinion
If you can show the operation was done negligently, you have a case.
The defence would be - he had double vision anyway
this is a specialised area in a specialised area - expert opinions would be necessary. You have had a squint operation as an adult - and I dont think there is anyone here who can tell you what the reasonable expectation is of the result....
I think your best bet is a no-win no fee solicitor - who specialises in medical negligence.
