Kiddies Playing Football On Estate
Just wondering if anyone will know who I can contact regarding my son and his friends playing football outside our home.
My little boy is 9 and his friends are 10 and 6 we live in an enclosed estate and they like to take their football goals outside and play football ..
they are to small to play over the local field .
Yesterday the police were called by one of our neigbours who often complain that the ball has rolled on this drive.

Which I also suffer from but go to work and continue going about my day to day chores and plod on!
So the police have now called at your house twice because your child/ren and friends are disturbing the neighbours?
Have you made any attempt to speak to the neighbour? To confine your children to your garden while things calm down with the neighbour?
Quite frankly I'd be a bit miffed too after four hours of footie being played in my street!
I do think you need to take stock of things as I doubt a third call out is likely to go in your favour.

You've lost - by being selfish and ignoring the Police visit you've given all the moral and legal high ground to your neighbour - very silly.
You were in a position to negotiate, arrange some give/take and ground rules - you didn't - now you have to give in and stop the kids altogether.
A masterclass in how not to do it.

The same neighbour called the police because the kiddies are playing football on the estate outside the other families house and no where near her house.
Basically they are allowed to play on the estate there is nothing she can do about it and the police officer has told the neighbour that she cannot stop them playing outside their own homes so I may contact the police myself as she is harassing my children .
And viv how rude .. how am I such a selfish person for wanting my kids to enjoy themselves and have fun during their school easter holidays I'm grateful that my children are enjoying themselves and able to run and play whilst their child is cooped up with two large dogs and a parrot ?
Bad me.

If the neighbour suffers from clinical anxiety (not just a bit stressed as you seem to be suggesting), then I have every sympathy with them. Your OP suggests that the lads are taking their goalposts out into the street too, not just having a kick-about. I wouldn't be tolerant of something like that either, a bunch of youngsters hooting about on the road outside my house for hour after hour would drive me batty.
Don't any of you have a garden that the boys could play in?

My children are in a catholic school so this week is their first week off school they are not back until 7th May.
We took them out to dan yr ogof caves and for a meal in TGIF Fridays on Tuesday and spent over a 100.00 I would love to be able to take them places every day but unfortunately I cannot afford this. So on the odd day when we have nice weather they like to play outside the front of our houses when we as parents can see them.
