Copying Cds
Is it legal to copy CDs so that you can have a copy in the car and one in your house (for example)?

That's a US website, Alba. (Their laws are different to ours).
Up until the 1st June it was illegal to copy CD tracks in any manner (both by making a copy of the CD or by ripping tracks to MP3 format). It's now lawful to do so as long as the copy is for (and remains only for) your personal use. So if, for example, a passenger in your car says how much they like the CD you're playing, and you then give them the copy, you must destroy the original:
