Hi, does anyone know if the European Union visa is counted in Scandinavia / Iceland or do they have separate visas? Question regards my friend's Turkish girlfriend who has used up her visiting visa for the EU this year and only has a couple of days left. She is currently in Turkey at the moment and clearly would rather not be as they are quite close to the border where things are getting a bit learey so quite fancied a holiday elsewhere whilst she can see how things progress. Any info gratefully received. thank you

All of the areas you're referring to are within the Schengen territories, using a common visa:

Full list of EU countries with/out Schengen agreement, as follows....

However, as your GF is a Turkish citizen, then if the OP is correct then entry to the EU may be problematical for them.
if you mean the Schengen area, it includes Scandinavia and Iceland
