Dropping Litter
i've been watching a triathlon on tv earlier and was wondering if the local councils prosecute the athletes for discarding their cups after they've drunk and tipped the water over their heads? even though they've probably got race marshals to clear up after them, if i was like that i've got council road sweepers to clear up after me, also what would happen if i was spectating and threw my litter onto the street/course with theirs and was in full view of the tv cameras at the time i bet i wouldn't get away with it, i bet some jobsworth would hunt me down and fine me.

The table is there with all the water
and here is a rush past - for short runs ( 10k ) it reallyis all over in a few mins
and then the people who poured it out - clear up the mess
pack up the table, store the unused water and get outtta there
They usually have medical staff ( one ) in case someone drops dead on the way
and the police go around the course a few mins before yo make sure everything is in place ( and whine about the extra work involved they cant charge for but that is another story - I found that hard to take as so many had given up their time free )
