We have been married for 25 years, mortgage is paid off. I moved in to my husband's home shortly before we married. My name is not on the deeds although in our wills we each leave the other everything. If he were to die would the house automatically pass to me?
Thanks

Yes if he does not alter his Will.
depends on how automatic

if you put it in joint names when it will on application (when he dies )
if he leaves it to you then it will after probate ( tax free since there is not IHT on transfers between spouses )

and as I sure BC will agree if you are both getting on
then you should think about who is gonna get the residue after the survivor croaks and adjust wills accordingly
deeds are irrelevant in most cases these days. The land registry entry is what matters. Yes the house would pass to you unless the will says otherwise.
