Cancellation Of Insurance Policy Due To Bad Driving

Thank you for your responses. I will of course make him be honest when searching for a new insurance company, however he is not due for a renewal of his policy until September so they are cancelling this early so he has not technically had a renewal declined. He has spoken to them this morning and they have basically said that if he cancels before they do then he can go elsewhere to get insured and does not have to say he is having his insurance cancelled, I am just a little concerned that the advisor might not have given the correct information and was therefore trying to find out if anyone knew for sure where he would stand

Also ALL car insurance details are registered on the MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau ) database, so as soon as he applies for a new policy with any company that company will have all his details. Do not try saying he has never been insured as that will flag up on the database as untrue and lead to automatic refusal.
Also he will have to explain why he is shown as being previously insured but does not have a NCB!
Sorry, but he is going to have to face the consequences of his poor driving!
