Pay Rise For Myself
I look after a disabled couple in there own home she is in a wheelchair husband has severe altzimers I do everything that I need to do to run the house is pay bills cook clean shop going to appointments ect she keeps tell me what times she wants me in and what hours she needs I've told her that I decide what I do as she is on self direct payments I pay my own tax and insurance I've been paid 10pnd an hour for 3 years that's for night shift as well I want to now charge 12 pnd for day shift and 15pnd for a night shift any ideas on how best to do this

I may not be his boss as in his employer, but I am the customer. You may be self employed but the lady who pays you is your customer and its up to her to tell you what she wants done or agree with your suggestions. If you feel that what she is paying you is not enough then you need to sit down and discuss it with her, but it will be her decision whether or not to pay you what you are asking for. Its possible that her benefit won’t cover it.
I dnt get holidays or sick pay if I'm of I dnt get paid I pay my own tax and insurance and when I start it was just her I ws look after but nw it's both of them and nw she wants nights done as well for the same money and it's not a slp shift plus I do the wages and all the paper wrk as she don't want to do it I do whts required of me and much more so I do the hours I chose to work I'm my own boss I'm nt employed
