My Son 13 Was Assaulted By Adults

He was punched repeatedly and dragged to the ground then kicked by 3 adults 20-45 there are witnesses and cctv it happened in scotland what sort of sentence can they expect

Hi I've just spoken to the police they have been charged with minor assault and he expects the fiscal to take it to court

They'll probably get off with a fine or community service, sadly.

Doesn't sound like a minor assault though.

Do you mean 'minor' as in child or 'Minor' as not serious?
I know Scot's law is different but in England there is no such charge as 'minor assault' the lowest form of assault is 'common assault'

No its definitely minor assault or to be exact minor assault on a minor as there was no permanent or long term physical injury
