I agree with the rest that pleading guilty wont make this go away
so you have to see it out
and plead self defence
you have to go with the lawyer on the ground and not us
these imjuries are pretty severe -and you have to hit someone pretty hard to pop their eye socket
the jury is going to have sort out who did what
you are also having to look for another job arent you
you lose your doormans licence after any conviction dont you
anyway good luck

I'm not too worried about my doorman license tbh. Just with a young family and a new business that employs people going to prison wud be tragic. Suspended sentence and community service etc I would be hoping for if found guilty. I kno of other cases that were more clear cut than mine that had lesser charges offered for early pleas.
All I can do is to repeat what others have advised, and that is to put your fate completely in the hands of your solicitor / lawyer. If he/she advises pleading guilty, then do so. If not, then don't. From the little you've already revealed, this is by no means an open and shut case, but only your legal representation can accurately evaluate all the facts and advise you accordingly.
