I pulled out in front of someone at an intersection but no accident was caused. However, there was a cop nearby but I did not get pulled over and he turned off the road so he was never behind me. I feel terrible and really ashamed that I made a mistake, and I’m wondering if I should be expecting a ticket in the mail sometime soon?

I can't help as I don't know anything about traffic violations in the USA.

How would they know who was driving?
This is a British-based site, and I'm afraid that not many of us, if any, will know enough about American traffic offences to be able to help you.
I'd consider it unlikely. If they were interested surely they'd have pulled you over and given you a stern talking to first. Forget it until you get something.
