Executor - Share Transfer

What did I do wrong?
I am executor for my father in Law. As instructed, I transferred, his Shares into my Mother in Laws name. However, on the certificates it has her name/address but above this it has "my name Executor to the deceased.......". The share dividends are coming to my address. This is not what was intended.
All share Certificates should be in mother in law name and dividends should be paid direct to her.
Any advice on how to rectify this please?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.As I read your post, the shares haven't yet been transferred. The certificates simply state that they now form part of your FIL's estate and that, as the executor, you have the right to transfer them to someone else.
To do so you'll need to complete form J30 (assuming that they're 'fully paid' shares) and return it to the company:
