Hello, I recently flew into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport where I was told to wait in my seat until everyone had left the airplane then was surprised that I was escorted off by the us customs. I was then interrogated by them for several hours regarding comments I made about comments I had made on the Internet about the 9/11 terrorist atrocities, Bin Laden, pro Palestinian and my anti bush administration which I’ve denied but they appeared to have a lot of information about me as well as . I was then escorted back onto a flight to the uk. It appears that the Tsa had put me on this no fly list since 2002 but is wasn’t told anything until my first flight since 98. Who can I complain to about my maltreatment? I was going to storm twitter, fb the uk media and chat rooms but decided to seek advice here seeing my wife uses this site regularly. Please advise.
Much appreciated.

If you feel you were unjustifiable detained , then I think the only official route you have is through your MP , who should take it up with the foreign office
Unless yours is a case of mistaken identity there is nothing you can do. Otherwise nothing you have said constitutes maltreatment. Nobody is informed that they are on the no fly list until they try to enter the USA
You are stuck with a bar just like if you were trying to enter a club - they decide whom they allow in and they decide how to decide.
Did you apply for an ESTA?
I’d have thought that you wouldn’t be able to get an ESTA if you are on a no fly list, let alone get on the plane, and fly.
That's why I asked, Rocky. No answer yet.
Your user name alone suggests they were right to be cautious.
If you were truly on the No-Fly list you would not have been able to board the plane - it's not the After-Fly List.

There are other watch lists that flag persona non grata attempting to enter the US after making landfall.

Watch list issues are covered by the DHS Traveler Redress Inquiry Program (DHS TRIP)

Things may have been complicated by the fact I have an identical twin with the same name. Regardless I refuse to be be thwarted by the us government at what was said many years ago and I will be there at my daughters wedding come hook or crook!
///I have an identical twin with the same name....///

That must have been confusing for friends and family....
