So right now I'm having to live with my legal dad. I'm 31 year old female. I have anxiety and panic attacks. I also have ADHD. On November 26th I was finally able to see a psychiatrist. He prescribed me 2mg Xanax 2x a day. And 20mg Adderall 3x a day. I set up the appointment. I paid for the appointment & to fill the prescriptions. The moment I got "home"he demanded that I give or place the medication where HE cold administrator it. I refused. Tonight he took my bottle of Xanax away from me.refusinf refusing to give it back to me. Also didn't bother to show even fake care on weather or not I'd been able to take my medication properly. I don't want to get the law involved. But I do need my medication. So What should I do?

Is there anywhere outside of the home where you can leave your prescriptions so that you can still have access to them but he cant? Like a friend or a work address. If not, maybe see if your pharmacy would work with you and dispense your prescriptions on a daily basis so that you only get 5 tablets per day which is a lot easier to hide than a bottle. My mum's pharmacy does this for her as we have had a few issues with overdosing so they now dispense daily for her.
