Notice Required By Employer For Roster Review.
My employer advised me on the 20th January that they are doing a shift alignment. I was given the new rosters and told l would have a 2nd meeting on the 7th of February when l would be required to submit 3 options for the new rosters. The new shifts would be implemented on the 1st of April. Is this the correct amount of notice. There are over 50 employees. I currently work 19 hours, on the new rosters l could either have to double my hours or half them. I do not want to increase them so l will have to half them. Are my company obligated to pay me my current pay for a period of time.

but scroll down and it looks as though they have given you notice and a consultation - ACAS are also very helpful

Changing rosters and working hours p, as in time of day is one thing, but doubling or halving the number of hours is a little different. The process for changing a contract depends on the contents. Are you contracted for 19 hours or is it a zero hour contract?
The third option is likely to be redundancy.
So the options are either take full time, part time or nothing. In broad terms its a restructure and although its disappointung for you, the notice period seems appropriate.
