A summons for what?
When did you get pulled over? When were you disqualified from driving? Could you put the words in your question into some sort of order.
For most motoring offences they have six months to begin court proceedings. They often take all of that for minor offences (speeding etc.) but not usually driving whilst disqualified (if that's what you're talking about). That is usually dealt with quite quickly.
