Work Changes (Part I)
Can a full-time employee be replaced by another person while they are actively in role?
An Executive Assistant at work has been in role for 2.5 years with a solid performance. Her boss recently told her that she would be moved to supporting one of his new direct reports, and that her position would be given to another E.A. She was not consulted on this change and her boss has now removed any calendar/inbox access and given it to his new E.A. Is this allowed?

For this question (part I) it is a different colleague and her boss has not changed role. He simply decided he needed a different Executive Assistant to support him and passed his current E.A. of 2.5 years into someone else. There are no changes in pay, work location, hours etc. Good to know that this can be done at any time. I’ll pass this information onto her.
‘Part II’ question is indeed about me, although slightly different circumstances.
