What kind of lawyers are "power lawyers"? What do they do more precisely? I found the term in a biographical work about an American president. Do they help the president and the first lady make the right decisions so as not to break the laws related to power?

The term seems to mean an influential top-rated lawyer in his/her specialised field as, for example, in the entertainment industry list here

Interesting, Buenchico. Then it seems that "power" does not refer only to political power.

That's true, Hopkirk, it seems to be cultural-specific, not very easy to find a correspondent in other cultures.
They tend to be well connected and switched on.
