Returning From Abroad
Have been asked by a friend to check out the procedure for her return to UK - both parents British, friend born here and left UK at about about 4years old when parents emigrated to South Africa -she holds British passport - have checked out the Government site and as far as I can see she comes under 'right of abode' as a UK citizen - is there any one able to advise is I'm missing anything please. Thank you

Other categories of people (such as British overseas territories citizens, British overseas citizens and British subjects) can qualify for British passports but aren't 'full' British citizens.
So your friend should check whether she qualifies as a British citizen here:

PS: South Africa is currently a 'red list' country, meaning that (as things stand) your friend would be required to follow the quarantine rules given here:
