I think my invitation from a certain person has been irretrievably lost in the post. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for it to appear but would like to ask if any of you have had a genuine lost in the post item?
I ordered some plants once and they never arrived and more recently a book (2 others ordered at the same time did arrive). I was assured by both companies that the goods in question had been sent.
An egg poacher, finally tracked by which time the company had sent it's replacement, a couple of things from China but to be honest I am not sure they ever existed!f
Naomi - they said my invitation would be sent when it came back from the printers where it was being embossed that was why it was taking a little longer to arrive. You have to have trust people don't you?
Well, I think if they said they were sending one, they would send one. If they didn't want to invite you they wouldn't mention it ... would they? I wouldn't.
My parcel which was a birthday gift never arrived at it's destination.
And I'm flipping fuming.
There must be a depot somewhere where all these lost parcels are accumulating!!!!
Hermes 'lost' a full Rare Breed Sheep Fleece I sold worth £125. No compensation nor explanation. How you can lose a 5 kilo large bag of fleece beats me.
The main stuff I've bought that's been lost in the post has come from Amazon, but they always refund, its just a nuisance having to reorder.
Just so I don't get accused of ignoring people - Bobbi - I was once expecting a special event invite. Not exactly sure to what. I think it will be a bit of an orgy. Why? do you want to be there as well?
Lady-J yes I insured it but they would not pay up as they said it was 'restricted' goods and not covered. I will never use Hermes again, and think the item was stolen
