I have had custody of my two granddaughters since March 2019. Both parents were given 2 hours visitation a month. In December 2019 their mother left her family home and went to Scotland to follow her violent boyfriend. Now she is back. Will the 2 hours visitation still stand or do we have to return to court to restore the 2 hours?

the two hours visitation stands: the ct hasnt changed it
they just arrange it and turn up

restore the 2 hrs - no nothing to restore - if they havent used it but their right doesnt go away
UNLESS
the court has varied the order and you wish to vary it back when clearly you need to go to court and ask

The childrens interests are paramount and I am glad and happy for them that you are stepping up - have a happier chrristmas....

PS I am not a lawyer

I agree with Peter, if the court haven't changed the order then it still stands. Is the violent boyfriend off the scene?

Yes he is off the scene thankfully.
the awful case today

I suggest you have more purchase in respect of your grand daughters welfare BUT - you have the great majority of the care of the child - and cutting them off altogether is unlikely to ab achievable object

good luck by the way
