I am divorcing my husband and waiting for the Nisi. I have tried to speak to him about a financial settlement but he ignores me, so now my solicitor is drawing up a financial plan. He is self employed and unsurprisingly this years accounts are showing a net profit of around £9k. Last years was £22k. I am not seeking spousal maintenance. We own a joint property with equity of around £200k. His pension is valued at £300k. Will it work in his favour that his net profit is lower. We alos have joint savings of around £30k.

do you suspect the net profit is artificial?

Yes. It's the lowest net profit since 2014. Normally its around £20k. I know he received 3 payments from the government (SEISS) which would have been in 2020/2021 I think. Around £12k in total. He was also working but not as much as usual.
