My partners ex is currntley harrassing and abusing her. They have children together and he uses them as a weapon. He has attacked her multiple times and almost killed her 2 years ago. He is an addict of drugs and booze. He has threatened to slit her throat and to burn my house down with me and my children in it. My partner called the police but was told threats against me wont be taken seriously if were romatically involved and with the history we have. Right now he is at her house and wont leave ,contact from my partner has been cut as hes made her delete and block me on social media and whatsapp. Their daughter has messaged me telling me this. My partner suffers with anxiety and ptsd(due to his attacks) and is scared to call the police because of the children and what he will do. He uses emotional blackmail on my partner and the children and whenever police or social services are involed he always seems to work around it and within days its back to the same thing.
Help is desperatley needed

so why arent you or the daughter calling the police right now?

Look at this website for her options. There's a number for her to ring when he's out of the house.
Question Author
because my partner doesnt want us to,she is too scared of what will happen
so, he has broken into her home, has previously almost killed her, is preventing her from contacting anyone (and presumable keeping her trapped?)
and you are not going to call the police?
Question Author
He has gone into house with excuse of seeing the children, and doesn't leave. Yes he nearly killed her 2 years ago, she was in a coma for 11 days and when she woke she couldn't remember it straight away. This is why she has PTSD and relives it through that. We cannot call the police as she is scared and will lie to them. She does feel trapped in everything to do with him. She is afraid of the conflict.
Are you UK based?
Question Author
yes in manchester

Contact either of these for advice. Else call local police and ask to speak to a dedicated DV officer.
Question Author
she has phoned the police twice last night and they did not turn up for her,he is still in the house and feels trapped and helpless
Was he not charged when he put her in a coma? I find it a bit surprising you would join this site to ask for help rather than a dedicated domestic abuse of police site. Call the police and tell them what you have told us and that you are concerned for her immediate safety.
