I need toWhat is max they have to refund. ask how much should be put in any Savings if the company/bank goes bankrupt.

But is there really any chance of major bank going bust , gov wouldnt allow it... if a bank lost everything I think economic shakedown would mean we'd all be in dire straits
Bob, if the financial meltdown was serious enough the government might be unable to bail them out. That's probably why they spend so much time and money telling us about the limits of this protection.
Has anyone got a list of the umbrella companies ?
