How can a judge instruct a jury to bring a guilty verdict? Surely this is then not a fair trial Can the jury overide the Judge?
Also why can a name be witheld due to legal reasons, who makes this discision, and what are the legal reasons?

The latter example could be when a man is charged with raping his very young daugher - naming him would clearly identify the victim.
Or if the defendant is likely to be tried in the very near future for a different offense - naming him could prejudice the jury.
