I am having a problem with my gas and electricity supplier. I moved into my property on 10th July and have tried over 10 times to contact them with my new meter readings. I have phoned, written, emailed and still got no response. I am wasting time and money doing this and it is infuriating me!! I am on a prepayment electricity meter which is in a previous tenants name and I am being charged at an extortionate rate for my electric. I am getting through �10 in 5 days and I'm hardly ever home!! I can't get through to them with my gas meter reading so I am just waiting for them to contact me. But I can't continue to pay the electric at this rate. (stupidly I did not keep the receipts as I didn't realise at first how quickly my electric was disappearing.) I am now on to them, listening to hints and tips and some hideous music. I have now been waiting 25 minutes (which will cost me loads yet again). In the meantime, I sent an email which took me about 10 minutes to write and when I submitted it, it said the page was not available as it may have too many users!! Argh!!! My email has now vanished! What can I do about the whole situation!? Does anyone know? Should I sign up with someone else on uswitch.co.uk and will they automatically inform Grittish Bass of my leaving them? I don't care I just never want to deal with this company again! I want out before I'm even in! HELP PLEASE!! Thanks (sorry for the rant but i'm running out of patience/electricity rapidly!)
