Who's fault is it?
22 Answers
I slipped in the shower and landed on a soap dish. resulting in a deep cut needing seven stiches. Which has left me with a very ugly 6cm scar. I rent my house. I have been told my landlord should rent his properties with a regulated non-slip bath. Is this correct ?

You imply that you rent the complete house therefore most of those rules wont apply.
The obvious question seems to be why didnt you put a mat in the bath yourself is you were liable to slip? It's really down to you.

Redcrx, the solicitor might first recommend mediation. Either way one will need the contact details for the defendant. I suggest the following numbers
T: +39.06.69884857 fax +39.06.69885863 (Holy See),
Whilst you are there, can you ask Him to send some good fortune my way and if possible Prince Charming.

where is this 'regulation non slip bath' rule regarding landlords?
any bath can be slipped in, no matter how matte the surface may be.
you knew it was slippy and didn't use a bath mat.
who in the world doesn't use a bath mat?
haven't you ever watched casualty or holby city?
3 of the most slippery things that ever existed - shiny surface, water and soap suds - all combined, are asking for trouble!
if the soap dish hadn't been there, would you have been ok?
you put it there didn't you? you must put it a safe distance away from you...like the hallway perhaps?
take responsibilty for your lack of common sense
(have you got a bath mat now?)
