this is more of a rant. sorry.
i hate being 17. it really sucks, i can't get into pubs when all my friends can use their older sisters ids and get in.
9 months to go, its just not fair, my friends just turned 18 and what makes me any different from her so that she can cope with being in the pub.?i hate it. anyone else feel/felt like this?

Don't wish your life away to start wtih. My son has only just turned 18 and he had the same problem as you he used to go to the pubs with his friends and they would go and get his drinks for him. The 9 months will soon go enjoy

your right about the not wishing my life away but in a selfish way its hard not to think liek that every friday night at the moment. i could get people to buy me drinks. if i could get in the bloomin pub in the first place! oh well.
You do realise that your friends are breaking the law and that if you did get in the pub and someone got you a drink, that they would be breaking the law as well?
awe....bless you. i know lots of people who have tried this although if i caught my 17 year old daughter with it i`d not be happy ! but ...oh well !

Once you are 18 and in pubs i`m sure that there will be morning when you say! "damn I wish I hadnt gone out last night". All good things come to those who wait!

why not throw your own 'party' and tell everyone to bring some drinks with them!

this way you shouldn't get asked for ID!
