we cancelled our dd by letter and recieved a reply from bank saying that our instructions would be done with immediate effect. however they continued to pay a large amount of dd for the next two months .having finally got them to stop paying they are now saying they want us to pay them all the money as the dd made put us overdrawn, there argument is that although a mistake may have been made we have had the beifit and should pay them back
