Forums - requesting removal of posts

I was a long standing member of a forum. Unfortunately, I was banned from the site due to a difference of opinion. The details are not important. I paid for membership and was a regular poster. However, I understand that if I am removed from the site, all my posts will disappear as well. I have asked that the posts are made anonymous or removed but the site owners will not correspond with me and I know that my name and posts are still showing and that I am shown as a member.

Do I have a right to have my details and posts removed?
