Can I block up a shared drive

My neighbour and I created a shared vehicle exit in the middle of our 2 semi-detached houses around 25 years ago. We both have another vehicle exit which is not shared. This has the effect of giving us both a sweep in and sweep out drive, with the middle section being the shared one. Just recently my neighbour has been blocking the shared exit with his callers vehicles and despite asking him to keep it clear he wont. Can I block off my side of the share exit to prevent him driving across it (and blocking it) I understand there are rules on easement.
