dentists
i attend a private dental clinic who also treat emept patients. I had some treatment started in april, 6 weeks before my exemption ran out, the dentist (who left the surgery 2 days later) decided that she wanted to refer me to be sedated so put in temporary fillings and sent me home to wait for my sedation appointment. 2 months later after hearing nothing I went back to see what was going on and they had been informed that I had not turned up for my sedation appointment even though I hadn't recieved anything from them to say when it was and they refused to give me a second appointment because I hadn't turned up for the first. Anywho, after making an appointment to discuss what the next step would be, the new dentist at the practice has decided to do my 2 root fillings but it will cost me nearly 600. Is it right that I should pay for it even though the treatment was started by them before my exemption ran out?
