I work for a firm who has taken over my old firm . They have been our new bosses for 2 months now . We get paid weekly by cash and did not recieve pay slips untill now they have given us pay slips backdated every week for the last two months. The problem is the so called pay slips are photo copies of pay slips and when they where given to us they where not in a sealed envelope. Is this against the law ? please can anyone give me some advice as I claim hosing benefit as its a part time job , will they accept pay slips that are photo copies?

it is ilegal not to give pay slips. Housing Benefit will only except
original pay slips or a print out of your wages from your employer. Do you have an employment contract, your employer
is required, by law, to give you a written statement of your employment detals.
