Where can I find out about the Europrean law ' that electrical goods should work for two years?.

This doesn't apply to the UK before you start getting excited! It was brought in to give the rest of Europe rights that are closer to the UK Sale of Goods Act. The UK gives up to 6 years under SOGA to obtain remedies for faulty goods (electrical and non-electrical), but the majority of Europe had nothing like that so these regs were brought in to redress the balance a bit.

Please don't go quoting this 'law' if you have a complaint with an electrical retailer as you will look rather silly!!
